National spotlight on league quartet

By David Watters

Fans of Warrington Town, South Shields, Marine and Skelmersdale United are all enjoying bumper national coverage of their Northern Premier League clubs as the historic 2017-18 campaign enters its final weeks.

Skelmersdale United supporters are currently tucking into an eight page spread on the EVO-STIK North club's history and battle for survival in the latest issue of Mundial Magazine while the Mariners and promotion-chasers South Shields and Warrington Town all feature in April's issue of The Non-League Magazine.

Featuring former NPL star and FC United of Manchester manager Tom Greaves on the front cover, issue 21 of the glossy magazine dedicated to the Non-League game carries an in-depth interview with South Shields secretary Philip Ray on their rise, special coverage of Marine's latest plans for their Crosby home and a double interview with Warrington chairman Toby Macormac and skipper Jay McCarten on the secret to their success in the EVO-STIK League's top flight this season.
