Liverpool's leading Non-League club announced their new venture at the Marine Travel Arena to engage with the local business community in and around Crosby in the run-up to Christmas.
Open to all current sponsors and season ticket holders, as well as all locally-based trade organisations, the Marine Business Club (MBC) is offering a host of benefits to members including invitations to quarterly networking meetings, quarterly newsletters and the chance to use club's facilities for meetings and events.
The Mariners say all traders with premises on College Road will be also be offered instant membership at no charge when the MBC is officially launched as a special gesture to mark its foundation.
Mariners commercial manager Nick Gordon said: “Marine FC has been part of the Crosby community for over 100 years and our ground is still in the heart of the town. Not only do we reach out to football fans and followers, we also want to help local businesses, many of whom are also long-standing supporters, maximise their potential, to ensure they are getting opportunities to help them grow as part of their association with the club.”
Marine chairman Paul Leary added: “There are some fantastic benefits of being a member of the MBC and we urge all local companies to consider joining us. As a club we feel we can play a role in encouraging local business growth and we are especially delighted to extend a welcome to all our friends on College Road to join us free of charge.”
