Fans who enjoy a flutter can start earning their clubs a cash bounty after the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League unveiled Betbright as its new official betting partner on Saturday.

A second major affiliates deal that will see clubs and fans benefitting from a new online holiday club is due to be launched next weekend. Both end long searches by officials to exploit the potential of member clubs and their attractiveness to online businesses.

Betbright, a new entrant to the online betting market, will pay clubs £40 for every fan who opens an account with them and wagers £25, regardless of whether they’ve won or lost. As a reward for their loyalty, supporters will also receive a £20 free bet as an added bonus.

A range of other benefits for clubs and fans - including exclusive competitions and extra prizes for users of Betbright’s mobile services – are also set to be rolled out over the remainder of the current campaign after the Evo-Stik NPL announced the new affiliates partnership which kicked off on Sunday to co-coincide with the launch of a nationwide advertising and marketing campaign.

As well taking adverts in Sunday’s Non-League Paper and elsewhere, Betbright are also providing advertising material for clubs to run on their official websites and in their match day programmes. Evo-Stik NPL Chairman Mark Harris is delighted that all 68 clubs can start benefitting straight away from the betting partnership, which will also be promoted via the league’s website.

A hundred per cent of the commissions earned will go to the clubs and Harris said: "We have been looking for a betting partner for some time and I’m delighted that we’ve teamed up with Betbright. There’s always a delicate balance to be struck between generating much-needed extra income for Non-League football clubs and maintaining a responsible approach to betting. I am sure that many of our clubs will welcome this scheme and reap the rewards."

Despite being new to the market, Betbright's approach is winning fans. As well as the new affiliate deal for the Evo-Stik NPL, it has signed betting partnerships with clubs from the highest level down. Clients already include Aston Villa, Huddersfield Town, Sheffield Wednesday, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Peterborough United and Port Vale.

Betbright’s Chief Executive Marcus Brennan believes their ethos is bound to find favour in the Evo-Stik NPL too. He said: "Betbright is new and has a new approach to partnership with fans and clubs. We have relationships with clubs in the Premier League, Championship and Division One but this deal with the Evo-stik NPL will mean more cash going into the British Non-League game.

"We are ambitious to change the ways in which people enjoy the opportunity of backing their judgement in a sport they know and love. We are focused in our early days on providing great odds, brilliant customer service and surprises that will delight along the way.

"Giving cash directly to the club of our customers’ choice is one small way in which we want to make a difference through marketing that delivers for us, naturally, but which goes one or two steps beyond as well in terms of how we can align with sport at every level."
