New sponsor powers up Rangers

Stafford Rangers' Commercial Manager Stuart Maun was more than happy to play a role in the official opening of their new Screwfix outlet after signing up the UK's number one trade supplier of goods and tools to the building industry as the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League club's latest sponsor.

Maun, pictured right with branch manager Dave Summers and Steve McIntosh from A1 Maintenance at the opening, was invited to lend a hand after the company's newly opened store in the town committed to advertising at Marston Road over the next 12 months.

Maun said: "It was great that Screwfix have chosen to support Stafford Rangers FC and pleasing that when a new company sets up in the area they immediately recognised the potential of working with their local sporting club.

"Screwfix already have a large distribution site close to the ground – but the new store is possibly even closer. We certainly wish them all the success in their new premises and hope that our working relationship helps both parties. We look forward to working with Screwfix over the next few months and hopefully welcoming them to a game very soon at the ground."
