Noble signs to push Morpeth forward

Morpeth Town have signed midfielder Liam Noble from Hartlepool on a four-year deal.

Noble, 28, has played for Carlisle, Notts County and Forest Green Rovers in the Football League, and ended last season as National League Hartlepool’s top-scorer, with 13 goals in 44 appearances.

He said: “I think I can contribute a lot to the team and the squad. Hopefully, with me only being 28, in my prime, I can really push this club forward.”

Noble came through the academy ranks at Sunderland.
