NPL launches digital ticketing partnership with Kaizen

By James Gordon

The Northern Premier League has partnered with the leading ticketing and merchandise provider in non-league football, Kaizen Ticketing.

The bespoke partnership will enable fans of NPL clubs to remotely buy tickets and other services in advance and on the day.

The partnership means that Kaizen are the official e-ticketing provider for all three competitions at Steps 3 and 4 of the National League System – the NPL, Isthmian and Southern Leagues.

The service is designed to increase income, reduce cash handling and help to grow fan bases – and help to get fans back to football, safely. Kaizen’s industry-leading technology will help pave the way for football’s safe return. Kaizen also incorporates Track & Trace tools alongside e-ticketing and portable scanning facility.

Kaizen work with clubs and for the clubs – the commercial possibilities of the system are limited only to what a club wants to sell. The Kaizen team have been working with non-league clubs from Step 1-4 since 2015 and have helped several different sides with a portfolio of services.

These range from ticket and merchandise sales, through to season card printing, half-term soccer school registrations and sponsorship deals. Kaizen’s track record demonstrates that a club could enjoy the following benefits of using their system:

  • Generate income 24/7, not just on match day
  • Minimise the amount of cash being held in a turnstile, or stored at the club
  • Attract and retain new fans with improved online reach
  • Reduce cash handling, therefore minimising the spread of germs
  • Offer a viable alternative for fans if venues are encouraged to become contactless

Mark Harris, NPL chairman said: “we looked at a wide range of e-ticketing providers. Kaizen Ticketing have shown themselves to be an industry leader. We believe that their expertise will give clubs the tools to increase revenue and win new fans.”

David Lynam, Managing Director, Kaizen Ticketing, said: “On behalf of the Kaizen team, I would like to say how delighted we all are to be working with Northern Premier League. We recognise that these are challenging times for clubs, but our staff have many years’ combined experience in the football industry – we believe we can help you. Look out for our ‘Getting Started’ pack which will get you up and running quickly. I look forward to meeting as many of you as possible in due course."
