Olly Thornley commits to Radcliffe

Radcliffe defender Olly Thornley has signed a new deal which will keep him at the club until the end of next season.

Thorney first joined Boro in October 2020 from Curzon Ashton.

In his first full season at the club, he was crowned Players’ Player of the Year.

Earlier this season, the centre-back passed 50 appearances for Radcliffe, hitting the milestone against Warrington Town on October 1.

To date during the 2022/23 campaign, he has featured 28 times in all competitions.

Bobby Grant’s side are currently fifth in the Northern Premier League heading into the latest round of midweek fixtures, where they will welcome second-bottom Belper Town to the Neuven Stadium.
