Open invite to networking event

By David Watters

The EVO-STIK Northern Premier League's clubs have been sent a special invitation to the first Football Trade Directory networking day of 2017.

Taking place at Sheffield United's Bramall Lane on Thursday 9 March, the free event is set to feature more than 30 exhibitors covering all aspects of the football industry from stadium development to team and corporate wear.

With the growing interest and ever increasing number of 3G and 4G pitches in use, specialists Polytan Sports and Greenfields are also sending their representatives to the home of the Blades to talk to club delegates from across the country and all levels of the game.

The FTD was launched in 2004 and is now one of the busiest football resource websites in the UK having hosted past football industry networking days across the country at venues including Manchester City, Chelsea, Birmingham City, Huddersfield Town, Stoke City, Bolton and rugby's Saracens.

FTD’s managing director John Booth is looking forward to seeing as many representatives as possible from the EVO-STIK NPL's 68 clubs at their latest get-together which is running from 11am until 3pm and also includes free refreshments.

Booth said: "Clubs from the EVO-STIK Northern Premier League are especially welcome and delegates can come and go to suit their own time as we aim to provide an atmosphere that enables people to create new contacts in the industry in an informal atmosphere.

"This is the 33rd event in the series and after speaking to the league's chairman Mark Harris he was happy that we extend invitations to all of the clubs in the NPL."

He added: "To register as a delegate you can simply email me at john@sportsglobal.co.uk or for more information call our office on 01772 875184."
