New Mills have announced that fans can pay as little as a pound to see Saturday's EVO-STIK League clash with Prescot Cables at Church Lane.
To help boost attendances over the remainder of the season, the First Division North club's officials have designated the fixture as a 'Pay What You Want Day'.
Although the club is asking for a minimum donation at the gate in order to cover matchday expenses, officials are hoping regular Millers fans will spread the word about the turnstile initiative which has proved so popular elsewhere in recent seasons in attracting new and old supporters.
Club secretary Duncan Hibbert said: "This experimental idea has proved popular at a number of other clubs up and down the country over the last few years so hopefully it will have a similar impact this coming weekend."
