Ossett Town welcome striker back

Ossett Town

FA Trophy giant-killers Ossett Town brought striker Jimmy Eyles back to the Evo-Stik NPL First Division North club on Monday.

Manager Craig Elliott re-signed the 20-year-old forward from Northern Counties East League Premier Division side Nostell Miners Welfare after his team produced one of the upsets of Saturday's FA Trophy Third Qualifying Round by knocking out Conference North side Workington.

Town won 2-1 at Ingifield and their reward in Monday's First Round Proper draw was a tough trip to Conference Premier Stockport County.

Eyles, who started his playing career with Town before moving to Pontefract Collieries, has netted twelve goals in sixteen games for Nostell this season and lived locally in Horbury.
