Ossett United support food bank for Non League Day

Ossett United made their biggest donation yet to the local food bank on Non League Day.

A crowd of 565 watched their 2-1 win over Shildon in the Northern Premier League East Division.

And the big crowd made sizeable donations for the South Ossett Church food bank.

Several car loads were required to transport the various food items to the church.

The Resource Food Bank manager Paul Moore expressed his gratitude to all the Ossett United supporters who brought in donations and following the delivery, needed to engage additional volunteers to sort everything out.

This is not the first time Ossett United have supported this most worthy causes and there is no doubt the association will continue in the years to come.
