Oumar Niasse leaves Macclesfield

Former Premier League striker Oumar Niasse has left Macclesfield, the club have confirmed.

Niasse joined the Silkmen in November last year and went on to make seven appearances for the club in all competitions.

The Senegal international, who joined Everton in 2016 for £13.5m, scored a debut hat-trick in the club's 4-2 Cheshire Senior Cup second round win at home to Tranmere Rovers.

However, he failed to find the back of the net in the six league games that followed and made just two starts in the league.

Niasse made 65 appearances at the highest level during his time at the Toffees and on loan for Hull City and Cardiff.

He exits the Leasing.com Stadium alongside another forward in Seb Thompson.

The 21-year-old made just one cup appearance for the club following his arrival in early December.
