Parsley signs Unicorns midfielder

Farsley AFC manager Neil Parsley has added Marc Thompson to his squad and re-signed Ryan Serrant for the new Evo-Stik Northern Premier League campaign.

Midfielder Thompson arrives at the First Division North's Throstle Nest from league rivals Ossett Albion. The former Unicorn is the son of ex-Guiseley assistant manager Phil Thompson.

Parsley said: "To be fair to Thommo, the reason why he is here is because whenever we have played against Ossett Albion, he has always caused us a problem. He is a clever player who takes up good positions and I’m looking forward to working with him and fit him into the system we play.”

Serrant re-signs for his sixth full campaign with the Villagers.
