Paul Quinn returns as Brighouse Town boss

Brighouse Town have announced that former manager Paul Quinn will return to the club until the end of the season.

This comes after the club parted company with Vill Powell earlier this week after nearly eight years in charge.

Quinn’s last spell as the Heffernan Utilities Stadium ended in 2017. He spent six years in charge and earned the club promotion to the Northern Premier League in 2013/14.

Since leaving, he has had managerial stints at Shaw Lane, Ossett United and Tadcaster Albion, before becoming a youth coach at Sheffield United.

He will be assisted by Steve Waide, who was previously assistant manager at Marske United.

Brighouse currently sit 17th in the Pitching In NPL East division, five points above the relegation zone with five games to play.

Quinn will take charge of his first game back at the club this Saturday when Town visit mid-table Cleethorpes Town.
