Pitmen To Host 'Meet The Manager' Night

Thursday’s ‘Meet The Manager’ night at Keys Park will give Hednesford Town supporters the opportunity to quiz management team Rob Smith and Larry Chambers on the eve of the big kick off of the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League.

Fans are invited to hear what plans are in store for The Pitmen as the squad have now finished their pre-season build up and get ready for a big first month in a new division. Keys Park will see bumper attendances with home games versus Chester on Saturday 20th August and, arguably the biggest game of the season, as arch-rivals Stafford Rangers make the short trip south down the A34 on Monday August 31st.

Supporters Association Joint-Chairman, Mark Goodwin, sees the meeting, organised by the fan run organisation whose aim is to improve the experience of being a Hednesford Town follower, as an important event as excitement grows for the first home game of the season against Buxton on Tuesday August 17th.

‘It’s great to see the management team prepared to talk to the loyal and passionate supporters of our Club and be prepared to give them the chance to ask questions about their plans for the forthcoming season. Rob and Larry have had an outstanding start to their tenure at Keys Park and it will no doubt be a very interesting evening.’

The SA will be running a raffle during the evening with free-membership at Nuffield Health Centre up for grabs, as well as a new home shirt signed by the first team squad. The monthly Committee meeting will take place at 7.15pm in the Sponsors Lounge with the Pitmen management team taking questions from the floor form around 8.30pm in the Chase Room.
