The EVO-STIK Northern Premier League's promotion play-offs were trending on Twitter on Tuesday night!

The EVO-STIK NPL and two of the competing clubs in the night's five semi-finals - Spalding United and Scarborough Athletic - generated localised trends on the worldwide social media platform as followed followed the progress of their sides.

The unprecedented coverage of this season's semi-final play-off action by the EVO-STIK NPL Show, NPLTV and a host of radio stations action is being credited for the thousands of tweets as fans shared info, video an stories.
