Players get cheeky for charity!

Farsley AFC's players could be in for some extra banter from their opponents in the EVO-STIK Northern Premier League over the coming weeks after flashing the flesh for a new charity calender.

Ryan Serrant, Rob O'Brien, Marcus Edwards, Jake Lofthouse, Lewis Nightingale, Matt Dempsey and Lewis Morgan are set to be the stars of August after agreeing to pose on the pitch at Throstle Nest for the Calendar Girls style charity calendar in support of a local business owner who was diagnosed with breast cancer.

Nursery owner Marguerite Hallas is now thankfully in recovery and along with other members of the Farsley community, the players stripped down for the 'Bare all for Breast Cancer' calender which has been organised by her son and daughter who are hoping to sell a thousand to raise funds for breast cancer charities.

Local award winning photographer Mark Swinford donated his services to produce the calendar whose other stars include staff from the local butcher, hairdressers, florists, local wine bar and dental practice.
