Mark Fell’s side claimed an away 2-7 victory at Grantham Town, with a hat-trick from Sam Fishburn, a brace from Paul Dawson and a further goal from Liam Brockbank and an own goal from Joe Parkin.
“We were marvellous,” manager Fell told the club.
“I’ll get the negative out first and we conceded from two set plays and that’s disappointing.

“We scored seven goals and listen if everybody is honest about today, it could have been ten plus. Sam’s missed a one-on-one and we’ve hit the posts a couple of times. Our attacking play was absolutely breathtaking at times.”
He continued: “The way we shifted it and the way we moved the ball, I don’t care who you are in this league today I don’t think anybody would have lived with us from an attacking prospective.”
Elsewhere in the league, South Shields were the only team to continue their perfect start to the season with a 0-1 win away at Witton Albion thanks to a goal in the 57th minute from Blair Adams.
Warrington Town’s winning streak came to an end at Flamingo Land Stadium, as Scarborough Athletic claimed their first win of the season with a 2-0 result, with goals from Ryan Watson and Kieran Glynn.
Jack Lenehan opened the scoring before Marcus Cusani scored two for Atherton Collieries for a 3-0 win over Basford United at home.
1,787 attended FC United’s 1-1 draw with Buxton, with goals from Aaron Morris and Diego De Girolamo respectively.
There were five different goalscorer for Bamber Bridge as they claimed a 5-1 victory at home to Gainsborough Trinity. Isaac Sinclair, Ewan Bange, Callum Spooner, Robert Apter and Matthew Dudley all on the scoresheet.
Matlock Town claimed a 2-1 victory at home to Hyde United, while Declan Bacon scored a brace for Mickleover to claim the three league points against Ashton United with a 2-1 score.
Stalybridge Celtic won 2-0 at home thanks to two goals from Ioan Evans, and Whitby Town claimed a 2-0 victory at home over Nantwich Town.
