Presentation is a true team affair

Team Stamford were on duty over Easter to take possession of the club's first Northern Premier League 'Club of the Month' award of the season.

Assistant manager Danny Hussey, physio Carol Holland, skipper Jordan Smith, vice captain Delroy Gordon, manager Graham Drury and goalkeeping coach Mike Hogg are pictured left to right collecting one of February's accolades on Saturday from EVO-STIK League representative Paul Hatt before going on to hammer Chasetown 6-0.

After being unveiled as one of last month's trio of top performing clubs alongside Barwell in the top flight and Hyde United in EVO-STIK League North, the EVO-STIK League South club's players and touchline team were presented with an engraved glass certificate to mark their play-off chasing form and a bottle of spirits to toast their success with.

The Daniels under the guidance of manager Graham Drury pipped Alvechurch to the EVO-STIK League South award thanks to their superior points per game average of 2.5. To win their first monthly honours during the NPL's historic 50th anniversary season, Stamford won three big matches away from home and held their nearest rivals at Alvechurch to a draw at the Zeeco Stadium.
