Quakers clash hit by late postponement

Fans travelling to Saturday's EVO-STIK Northern Premier League clash at Darlington should turn around and head home after the fixture was postponed at lunchtime.

The Quakers clash with Prescot Cables was due to go ahead after a morning pitch inspection but was ruled out with a frozen pitch following a second inspection by match officials.

The First Division North fixture was one of six of Saturday's matches to fall victim to waterlogged or frozen pitches. Supporters should continue to check the fixtures pages for the latest updates.
