He has agreed terms to join the club at the expiry of his contract with National League outfit Altrincham.
Linking back up with Anthony Johnson and Bernard Morley after a three-year spell with Salford City from 2014-17, the 32-year-old arrives at the Neuven Stadium with an abundance of talent and leadership, having donned Altrincham’s captain’s armband for a season prior to his move to Radcliffe.
Hulme has established himself as a striker with a keen eye for goal at the top end of non-league football, having fared for the likes of AFC Fylde, Altrincham and Salford City, as well as Padiham and Ramsbottom United in the early stages of his career, hitting double figure goal tallies in the majority of his seasons.
“It’s been a long time coming and I’m glad it’s finally done," He said.
"I can start a new chapter and it’s going to be good. I owe Bernard and Jonno a lot - they gave me my first chance in non-league and we’ve grown together. I'm happy to get back on board with them.
"First and foremost I’m a winner, hopefully I can score some goals as I’m kind of a target man which is a platform to play off.
"I can’t wait to meet the lads and get going, it’s exciting times with new managers and new players. My message to the fans is to get down, support the boys and we’ll have a good time, but we’ll only have a good time if we’re winning and that’s what I’m here to do.”
