Radio show for fans at new stadium

EVO-STIK Northern Premier League Stamford AFC are launching a new partnership with Rutland Radio to provide pre-match entertainment for fans at their brand new Zeeco Stadium.

The Premier Division's Daniels have announced that supporters will be entertained with a 45 minute pre-recorded show before kick-off fronted by Rutland Radio’s Breakfast presenter Rob Persani. The show will include music, announcements and dedications from fans, as well as access to staff and players for pre and post-match interviews.

As the Premier Division club awaits an official date to move into the new stadium at the Borderville Sports Centre, officials are urging supporters to start getting involved by sending in their first set of dedications and requests for incorporation in the inaugural show.

Persani, pictured shaking hands of the deal with Daniels commercial manager Paul Pepper, said: "We couldn’t be more delighted to be a part of the new and exciting phase for Stamford AFC. We hope that our blend of music and mentions will help to create a great pre match atmosphere."

Hailing the new media partnership, Pepper said: "We are pleased that another major company in the Stamford and Rutland area have added their support to this exciting new era in Stamford AFC’s history. With Rutland Radio on board we hope through their various media outlets we can keep our fans up to date on all the latest news from The Zeeco!"
