Evo-Stik NPL Fair Play Awards

Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Respect Manager Phil Bradley will present Matlock Town with October's Premier Division Fair Play Award before kick off against AFC Flyde on Saturday at Causeway Lane.

Leek Town, who were named as last month's best behaved side in First Division South, are also due to be honoured this weekend with League Representative John Beaumont making the presentation at Harrison Park before they play Rainworth Miners Welfare.

Bradley is set to head to Ossett Town on Saturday week before they play Radcliffe Borough to hand out the First Division North's accolade.

The three clubs were named on Thursday as the best behaved sides for October after topping their respective divisional fair play tables based on Evo-Stik NPL fixtures played divided by points for yellow and red cards.

Matlock came out on top in the Evo-Stik NPL's top flight after collecting just four yellow cards in six league outings last month to post a disciplinary average of 0.67 points. The result lifts them to up sixth place in the season-to-date behaviour tables.

In First Division North Ossett Town lead their overall behaviour table after winning October's award. In four league outings they collected just one yellow card to come out with a disciplinary average of just 0.25, the lowest across all three divisions of the Evo-Stik NPL.

First Division South leaders Leek Town took their divisional best behaviour award to climb to third spot in the campaign's overall rankings. The Blues picked up two yellows in four games to emerge with an average of 0.50 points.
