Frickley Athletic manager Karl Rose has signed four more players after securing his first signings of the summer in midweek.

Three new faces - defender Conor Qualter, winger Cameron Harris and midfielder Matthew Young – arrived at Westfield Lane on Tuesday and they’ll be joined by defender John Cyrus, striker Ashley Flynn and midfielders Aaron Joseph and Bradley Riley.

The Premier Division’s Blues announced the arrivals Cyrus, 22, and Flynn, 25, from NCEL runners-up Shaw Lane Aquaforce along with Joseph 27, from Pontefract Collieries and Riley, 21, from Albion Sports.

Flynn previously made five appearances for the Blues on loan for former manager Mark Hancock and has also played for Garforth. Like Flynn, Cyrus have also played for AFC Emley.

Joseph was previously at Liversedge in the NCEL while Riley has turned out in the past for AFC Emley, FC Halifax Town and Ossett Albion after starting as a junior at Barnsley.

Rose also resigned Luke Hinsley, Luke Jeffs and Joe Wilcox in midweek as well as striker Danny South after he returned to the club.
