Evo-Stik Northern Premier League First Division South leaders Coalville Town were held to a 3-3 draw in a thriller at Sheffield FC but still head the table by twelve points, writes Pitchero's Steve Whitney.

It looked like being business as usual for the Ravens as they raced into a 2-0 lead inside 13 minutes with goals from Cameron Stuart and Ryan Robbins. Steve Woolley reduced the arrears from the penalty spot after 27 minutes, only for Coalville to restore their two-goal advantage three minutes later.

Jonathan Muldoon pulled Club back into the game just past the hour-mark and then Woolley equalised a couple of minutes later. Had it not been for a superb save from Ravens' keeper Sean Bowles to deny Muldoon the home side could have won it, instead they finished with ten-men after Matt Roney was dismissed near the end for two yellow cards.

King's Lynn Town, who possess three games in hand, still harbour hopes of catching Coalville and went two points closer after winning 3-0 at The Walks against Market Drayton Town with goals from Stephen Spriggs, who notched two in the 50th and 75th minutes, and Sam Mulready at the end.

Third and fourth-placed Stamford AFC and Sutton Coldfield Town shared a disappointing goalless draw at Kettering Road, while fifth-in-the-table Belper Town also drew, 2-2 at Kidsgrove Athletic.

The Nailers found themselves 2-0 down to goals from Shane Reaney after 32 minutes and James Curley five minutes later. But a Jon Froggatt brace on the hour-mark and then in stoppage time salvaged an important point for Peter Duffield's side.

It was even more crucial as sixth-placed Halesowen Town and outsiders Northwich Victoria both won.

The Yeltz had Jean Gueyes and Neil Barnfield on target in the 22nd and 44th minutes respectively at Rainworth Miners Welfare, while the Vics came back from a 27th minute Ben Garrick goal down at Ashby Avenue against Lincoln United to win, thanks to Gary McEvatt after 62 minutes and Joe Bunney 13 minutes from time.

Newcastle Town inflicted bottom-markers Hucknall Town's twenty-third defeat of the season, courtesy of a 25th minute Nathan Sutton effort, while second-bottom Romulus were beaten 2-0 on the 3G at Coles Lane by Gresley FC, whose Royce Turville after 40 minutes and Marc Goodfellow on 54 minutes, were the scorers.

Third-bottom Mickleover Sports shared a 2-2 home draw with Carlton Town, whose Rueben Wiggins-Thomas bagged a brace in the seventh and 85th minutes, sandwiched by Matt Harris and Rob Ritchie-Smith goals for the hosts in the 69th and 82nd minutes respectively.

Elsewhere, Rob Norris scored the only goal of the game to give Loughborough Dynamo the spoils at Harrison Park against Leek Town while Lee Butler on 12 minutes and Andy Westwood 11 minutes from time, scored the goals that gave Chasetown a home win over Brigg Town.
