EVO-STIK NPL First Division South

The EVO-STIK Northern Premier League's First Division South was particularly badly hit by the weather on Saturday with only three of eleven scheduled matches managing going ahead, writes Pitchero's Steve Whitney.

Lincoln United came from behind twice against league leaders Sutton Coldfield Town to remain unbeaten in the league in 2015.

On the Coles Lane 3G, Justin Richards gave the Royals a 28th minute lead that Kallum Smith levelled right on half-time. Eight minutes after the restart, Jordan Nadat restored the leaders` advantage, only for Andy Hutchinson to respond within four minutes.

Lincoln are now just a couple of points behind fifth-placed Spalding United.

Leek Town moved into fourth spot after hammering mid-table Loughborough Dynamo 7-1 at the Nanpantan Sports Ground.

And it all happened after the home side took a 26th minute lead through Daryll Thomas!

Liam Shotton levelled from the spot on the half-hour mark and the same player put Leek in front three minutes later.Dan Shelley made it 3-1 just two minutes after that and then two goals in three minutes shortly after half-time from Jordan Johnson killed off the game.

To add insult to injury, recent signing Matt Thorpe was sent-off for Loughborough on the hour-mark for a bad challenge on Karl Espley. Johnson went on to complete his hat-trick in the 77th minute and Tom Lowe made it 7-1 in stoppage time.

The day's only other game saw Market Drayton Town win the relegation `six-pointer` with fellow strugglers Rainworth Miners Welfare.

Jack Woolley gave the Shropshire hosts a 55th minute lead that brother Joe doubled in injury-time from the penalty spot.
