Season tickets holders first in queue

Season ticket holders at EVO-STIK League South Shields were first in the queue on Monday when tickets for their all ticket Emirates FA Cup clash with Hartlepool United went on sale.

With the EVO-STIK League North leaders attracting huge crowds at home this season, including a record 2,806 for their last gasp 3-2 win in the last round over York City, season tickets holders and sponsors were given first priority when tickets for Saturday's clash at Mariners Park went on sale at 10am.

Sales to SSFC members start from 9am on Tuesday before tickets go on general sale from 9am on Wednesday. As the Emirates FA Cup Fourth Qualifying Round tie is being segregated, the Mariners say fans purchasing tickets on general sale will be asked to produce a form of identification showing their address.

For more information on tickets priced at £10 for adults, £7 for concessions and £3 for U16s, visit southshieldsfc.co.uk or call 0191 454 7800.

The Mariners are through to the penultimate qualifying round alongside seven other EVO-STIK League clubs with Buxton, Hyde United, Ossett Town, Nantwich Town, Scarborough Athletic, Shaw Lane and Stourbridge all bidding for a place in the Emirates FA Cup First Round proper.

Since winning the Buildbase FA Vase at Wembley in May, Shields have won 14 of their 15 matches this season – nine in the league and five in the cup competitions, the latest a stunning 5-2 win at Scarborough Athletic's new home on Saturday in the preliminary round of the Buildbase FA Trophy.
