Linnets manager Gary Setchell has moved quickly to secure eleven members of his Evo-Stik Northern Premier League First Division South champions for next season.
Setchell, pictured collecting February's Manager of the Month Award from NPL Respect Manager Phil Bradley, announced on Wednesday that he's already signed more than half his title-winning squad for the next campaign at The Walks.
Defenders Ryan Fryatt, Jordan Yong, Phil Gulliver, Stuart Wall, Ross Watson, Jason Lee, goalkeeper Alex Street, midfielders Richard Bunting, Dan Quigley, George Thomson and striker Dan Jacob have all committed themselves as the club seeks to establish itself at Step 3 of the National League System following successive promotions.
Two key players are leaving The Walks. Midfielder James Jepson, who made thirteen appearances for Lynn having signed from Gresley FC in February, has departed along with Russell Dunkley who's leaving due to increased travel and work commitments.
Nicknamed 'The Beast', Dunkley scored fourteen goals from forty-seven appearances after joining from Long Buckby and looks likely to return to the United Counties League. The club say university-bound Charlie Butt will also have departed by the time the new campaign gets underway in August.
