Sheffield sign Chesterfield striker on loan

Chesterfield striker Luke Rawson has returned on loan to Sheffield FC.

Rawson, 17, had a brief spell with the EVO-STIK League East Division club in December, making three starts including the abandoned game at Tadcaster.

He scored two minutes into his debut away at Pickering, but was recalled from his loan and subsequently made two appearances for the Spireites.

A club statement said: "Luke will be with us for a month, gaining further valuable experience and game time as he seeks to progress his career with Chesterfield.

"Thanks to all the management and staff at the Proact for their support, we look forward to seeing them here keeping an eye on Luke and his development over the next few weeks."
