Spartans seeking late friendlies

Blyth Spartans are looking for two late friendlies in August to help manager Tom Wade prepare his squad for the new EVO-STIK League campaign.

Officials at Croft Park announced on Tuesday that they are looking for opposition on Saturday 2 August and Saturday 9 August before the new season kicks off a week later.

The Premier Division club say they'll consider all options and are prepared to travel to or host games on either date.
