Stadium renamed at Mickleover

Now known as the Raygar Stadium

Mickleover Sports Football Club have announced the sponsorship and subsequent renaming of its Station Road stadium, thanks to Raygar Architectural and Engineering Supplies (RAES).

The newly named Raygar Stadium has been marked by the construction of an improved new sign at the ground entrance, which will now greet supporters of the EvoStik Northern Premier League side on matchdays.

RAES specialise in architectural ironmongery, and offer a variety of fittings, tools and equipment for both trade and public. This is the latest in a series of generous investments from the Derby firm, who are continuing to demonstrate their commitment the club.

This partnership marks another step forward for the club under Chairman Stuart Clarke, who commented “The club greatly appreciates the continued support of RAES, and Ray Garlick in particular.

“We value our relationship with all our sponsors, as they provide essential funds for the club and ensure we are able to progress year on year. The sponsorship of the ground is of huge significance and will enable us to further invest in the club's future.”

Ray Garlick, Managing Director of RAES, and also Vice Chairman of Mickleover Sports FC, said “It is great to be involved with Sports during this exciting period of development and we are delighted to be able to support the football club in this way.”
