Recap the latest action from Step 4 of the Northern Premier League…

In the NPL East Division, Belper Town moved top on goal difference after an emphatic 5-1 win away at Bridlington Town.

Phil Watt opened the scoring for the Nailers before Revarnelle James and Kevin Bastos both scored twice.

Consett also climbed to third in the league table after defeating previous leaders Hebburn Town on Friday evening.

The Hornets are the only unbeaten side in the division, having won four and drawn one of their opening five league matches.

There were also comfortable victories for North Ferriby and Stocksbridge Park Steels, while Liversedge left it late to edge a five-goal thriller at home to Sheffield, who had come from behind twice before Jack Dyche's 88th-minute winner secured the points for Steels.

In the NPL Midlands Division, Bedworth United strengthened their grip on top spot after goals from Kory Burke, Elliot Parrott and Leo Stone helped them win 3-0 away at Gresley Rovers.

Bedworth are four points clear of Spalding United at the top - although the Tulips have played three games fewer, having won their opening four matches.

Elsewhere, a Rio Molyneaux hat-trick helped Loughborough Dynamo defeat Walsall Wood 4-0, and there were six goals shared at Pack Meadow as Coleshill Town and Quorn played out a thrilling 3-3 draw.

NPL West Division leaders Kidsgrove Athletic maintained their perfect start to the new season as a first half double from Joe Wooleley helped them to a 2-1 victory over Chasetown.

Stalybridge Celtic remain four points behind them, after braces for Aaron Dwyer and Matthew Bryan saw them overcome Witton Albion 4-0 at Bower Fold.

Dan Cockerline also found the back of the net on his first league start for Newcastle Town as they ran out 2-0 winners at Widnes.
