Recap the latest action from Step 4 of the Northern Premier League…

Due to FA Cup first round qualifying involvement for a number of clubs, only 12 games took place across the three Step 4 divisions.

In the NPL East Division, leaders Hebburn Town fell to their first defeat of the season at home to Liversedge.

Sedge won 2-0 thanks to second half goals from Isaac Assenso and Simon Heslop.

Nearest challengers Belper Town also lost as Pontefract Collieries came from a goal down to win 3-1 at the Silver X Stadium.

There were also wins for Bridlington Town and Grantham Town, at home to Ashington and Newton Aycliffe respectively.

In the NPL Midlands Division, Bedworth United won 3-0 at Lye Town to go top of the table.

Will Grocott scored twice after Kory Burke had opened the scoring midway through the first half.

Quorn edged a five-goal affair at home to Walsall Wood to move into the play-off places, while Loughborough Dynamo and Sutton Coldfield Town were also comprehensive winners.

In the NPL West Division, it was a day for the away teams as Avro, 1874 Northwich and Bootle all won on their travels by a scoreline of 1-0.

Meanwhile, Stalybridge Celtic's Max Harrop scored a stoppage-time winner as they overcame Hednesford Town at Bower Fold, having been pegged back twice by the visitors.
