Striker set to switch after completing ban

Leek Town

EVO-STIK Northern Premier League Leek Town are poised to loose striker Andy Kinsey to local rivals Kidsgrove Athletic.

The Blues received a seven days notice of approach from Athletic to take him back to the Seddon Stadium at the weekend. With the veteran frontman reportedly unhappy about his opportunities of late at Harrison Park, he is expected to become a Kidsgrove player once he completes a two-match ban this week.

The 36-year-old, pictured, began a second stint at Harrison Park in February 2012 after signing from Kidsgrove Athletic where he was in this third spell. He previously played for Leek in the 2005-06 season before he joined Nantwich Town and helped them to win the 2006 FA Vase when he scored twice in the final.

Kinsey has also played for Alsager Town, Biddulph Victoria, Congleton Town and Witton Albion and recently completed his 100th appearance in a Leek Town shirt. He'd scored six goals so far manager Lee Casswell.

Keeper Ryan Price also left the First Division South club at the weekend after being released to join the Premier Division's Halesowen Town.
