Halesowen Town showed their support for one of the Yeltz's injured young players during Saturday’s friendly derby with Stourbridge by teaming up with a local playing legend.
Under 14s star Vuyani Jako, voted last season’s most improved player of the year, broke his leg during the summer playing for the Evo-Stik NPL First Division South outfit in a youth tournament.
To cheer him up and speed his road to recovery, the club invited the youngster and the rest of his team to the game and at half-time Jako was presented with a signed Yeltz shirt by West Brom legend 'Super' Bob Taylor, pictured left alongside Under 14s manager Shaun Barrett and Jako.
Halesowen spokeswoman Sarah Titmus said: "Everyone at Halesowen wishes Vuyani a speedy recovery and hopes he will be back in a Yeltz shirt as soon as possible."
Halesowen are at home to Mickleover Sports on Saturday in their opening fixture to the Evo-Stik NPL campaign. Tonight, [Monday], Yeltz boss Shaun Cunnington is due to host a question and answer session with supporters at a fans forum. The events starts at 7.45pm.
