Take-off time for league's new holiday club

Evo-Stik Northern Premier League fans can start raising funds for their clubs every time they book a holiday after the league became the first in the country to launch its own travel club.

Officially launched on the Evo-Stik NPL’s official website on Saturday following successful search engine trials to guarantee fans would get the best possible deals with summer on the way, The Non-League Travel Club is the first online booking service in the country offering supporters and their families discounts with leading tour operators and a loyalty commission for their clubs on their UK and worldwide travel.

The service is being operated by TUI, one of the world’s largest travel companies with over 240 trusted brands led by Thomson and First Choice. Other leagues across the pyramid are expected to follow suit and sign up to the system which rewards clubs with a commission based on the cost of the holidays booked.

After successfully teaming up with new betting partner Betbright before Christmas and seeing clubs already cashing in on the loyalty promotion for fans who enjoy a flutter, Evo-Stik NPL Chairman Mark Harris is delighted to launch a second major scheme to fill club coffers and reward the loyalty of supporters at the same time.

He said: "In the current commercial climate our clubs need every penny they can raise. This scheme creates another new income stream that directly benefits the fans as well so it is great news.

"Every year, more than half a million people are visiting the league website, and as our fellow leagues come on board, this can only expand the potential audience for the service in the future."

As well as being available through www.evostikleague.co.uk, clubs can also host the Non-League Travel Club on their own websites and generate additional income with banner advertising for the exclusive loyalty promotion.

A spokesman for TUI said: "We’re delighted to be able to support Non-League clubs and their fans in this way. Fans will be able to search for a package holidays online from all the major UK tour operators including Thomson, First Choice, Thomas Cook, Cosmos and many more.
