The Lilywhites bolster their attack

Marine have confirmed the signing of young forward Freddie Price.

The 20-year-old began his career with Morecambe’s academy, and has since made 19 senior appearances for The Shrimps.

He joins manager Neil Young’s side, who currently sit sixth in the NPL Premier Division.

On the transfer of Price to The Mariners, Young spoke to the club’s official website and said: “Freddie is a player who can play off the front or in a wide area.

“He has a number of EFL appearances in both League One and League Two, and at only 20 fits our profile perfectly and will be a good addition to our squad.”

Price could be available for selection later this evening as Marine travel to Stalybridge Celtic.
