Three in, two out for Christmas

Neil Parsley has brought in three new players ahead of a busy Christmas schedule for Farsley AFC.

Defender Adam Clayton has joined the Evo-Stik NPL First Division North club on loan from Bradford Park Avenue. His last game at Throstle Nest will be the Boxing Day fixture against Garforth Town before being recalled to The Horsfall Stadium.

Fellow Avenue defender Ross Daly has also joined on a short term loan deal although no date has been set for the end of the loan.

Farsley boss Parsley said: "Adam had a knee operation five weeks ago and needed games and we were only too obliging to help both Adam and Avenue out. The situation with Ross Daly is similar but without a time scale being put on it."

Left winger Ryan Harrison has also signed on at Farsley after a short spell playing in Swedish Third Division side Ange IF. The 21-year-old has began his career in the youth section at Bradford Park Avenue and also featured for Stocksbridge Park Steels last season.

All three players made their debut for the club in Tuesday’s 4-1 win over Clitheroe in the Doodson Sports Cup and are available for selection for Saturday's league game at Salford City.

Farsley also announce on Friday that two players have left the club, right-back Aaron Hardy joining Conference North Guiseley while centre-back Josh Radcliffe has been released.
