The former Frickley Athletic attacking midfielder and frontman, pictured, was one of the biggest names on Saturday's official transfer list after being snapped up by Tigers boss Darren Kelly on a month's loan from AFC Telford United to spearhead his second-placed side's EVO-STIK League North promotion bid.
The 23-year-old, who came through the youth ranks at Huddersfield Town and has also turned out for Glossop North End, was at Curzon Ashton last season before signing for the National League North's Bucks in November.
The Tigers were three points behind leaders South Shields before their away day at Ingfield and a spokesman said: "Max signed in time to be eligible for selection for today's away trip to Ossett Town and we welcome him on board at a key stage of the season with the club well-placed."
