Title favourites prepare to go up

The EVO-STIK League South club - a massive 21 points clear at the top of the table ahead of their trip to second-placed Bedworth United on Saturday - are looking to appoint a commercial manager to oversee all aspects of their commercial activity, much of which is based around the popular 3G facility at Greenwich Avenue.

Officials at the runaway leaders announced they were starting to prepare for life at a higher level in a statement on Thursday setting a deadline of Friday 26 January for applications and pointing potential candidates to full details of the new post and a job specification on the club's website.

A spokesman said: "This is an new exciting full-time role at one of the country's top up and coming Non-League football clubs. The position offers an attractive basic and attractive commission-based remuneration package. Whilst sales experience is preferable of more importance is a self driven person.
