Tough enough to take on bad boy?

EVO-STIK Northern Premier League Skelmerdale United are challenging their fans to survive a night with one of football's bad boys after booking former Everton and Tottenham star Pat Van Den Hauwe to entertain them at their next sportsman's dinner.

Nicknamed 'Psycho Pat' and now an ambassador for the Toffees after clinching their last league title in 1987, the 55-year-old will be entertaining fans at the EVO-STIK NPL Premier Division club's Stormy Corner with tales from his career next Friday night (November 11). As well as winning the league twice with Everton and the club’s first European trophy, the defender lifted the FA Cup with Tottenham in 1991.

Kicking off at 7.30pm, Skem officials say tickets for 'An Evening with Pat Van Den Hauwe' are priced at £15 and include a hot-pot supper.

A Skem spokesman said: "Can you survive a full night with Pat Van Den Hauwe? One of football’s bad boys and the holder of two league championship winner’s medals and a European Cup Winners Cup medal, hear his inside story of Everton’s three greatest seasons."
