Trophy hunt tops the bill on Friday's show

FC United of Manchester's general manager Andy Walsh looks ahead to the weekend's big game against Torquay United on the new EVO-STIK NPL Show Extra.

As the latest podcast to preview the weekend's action was being released for download at lunchtime on Friday, Walsh and Karl Marginson's Premier Division side were setting off to Devon to fly the flag for the EVO-STIK Northern Premier League in the quarter-finals of the FA Trophy.

With Walsh's club now only two wins away from Wembley, more than a thousand Mancunians are reported to be heading to the English Riviera to cheer them on against a Conference Premier side that was playing in the Football League last season and currently lies 39 places above the Reds in the football pyramid.

Walsh was at the Magnet Inn in Stockport on Thursday to record the podcast alongside regular guests James Heyes from the NPL Facebook Group and Whitby Town Radio's Andrew Snaith. Together with host Ben Hughes, the trio also run the rule over Saturday's league action in all three divisions and discuss the latest league news.
