Two goals in six minutes just before half-time from Kieran Wells saw the Nailers lead at the break. And then top scorer Jon Froggatt made it game over with a third on 57 minutes.
At the other end of the table, second-bottom Bedworth United drew level on games with bottom-markers Kidsgrove Athletic and remain three points ahead of them after losing 2-1 at the Oval to mid-table Gresley FC.
Mitch Piggon gave the Greenbacks a 37th minute lead that Paulo Piliero cancelled out right on half-time and then Serge Makofo won it for the Moatmen five minutes after the break.
