Tuesday's Premier Division action

Farsley Celtic and Whitby Town are the only two teams in the EVO-STIK League Premier Division to manage back-to-back wins in the new season following Tuesday night`s round of matches, writes Steve Whitney at Non League Today.

Farsley beat nine-men South Shields at Throstle Nest, while Whitby won at relegated North Ferriby United.

In contrast, Lancaster City joined Basford United, who played 24 hours earlier, in being win-less from their first two games of 2018-19.
