Stamford AFC are looking to entertain their supporters as they made it nine goals from their opening two games in the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League First Division South, writes Pitchero's Steve Whitney in his Tuesday night round-up.

Tuesday saw the Daniels hammer Lincoln United 5-1 at home making it eleven goals conceded in two games by United. It wasn`t until the 42nd minute that Graham Drury`s side got off the mark, thanks to an Andy Hall penalty, but Richard Jones quickly made it 2-0 by the break.

Joe Butler reduced the arrears four minutes after the restart, but Hall went on to complete his hat-trick, including a second spot-kick, and Jordan Smith sandwiched the other to make it nap.

Northwich Victoria, who were beaten by Stamford last Saturday, took revenge on Sutton Coldfield Town, for whom this was a second successive defeat. But a 5-0 home hammering will be concerning for Royals boss Chris Keogh, who saw Matt Walwyn and Chris Luby give Vics a 2-0 lead by the 15th minute.

Paul Mooney and Walwyn again doubled the visitors tally midway through the second half, with Lee Dodgson`s last-minute fifth rounding off the misery for Sutton Coldfield.

Sheffield FC, who hit Lincoln United for six last weekend, were beaten 2-1 at home by Loughborough Dynamo on Tuesday. Loughborough, who were beaten at home by Carlton Town on the opening day, took a 31st minute lead through Louis Hamilton and added a second on 72 minutes from Dom Brennan, with Warren Burrell scoring a stoppage time consolation for Club.

Relegated Mickleover Sports made it two from two after a 1-0 home win over Rainworth Miners Welfare, thanks to Dan Martin`s goal a minute before the break.

Chasetown, who came down with Sports, won for the first time, seeing off Newcastle Town 2-0 at The Scholars through Nick Wellecomme after 44 minutes and Simon Brown in the last minute.

Leek Town drew last Saturday, but managed a 2-1 Harrison Park victory over neighbours Kidsgrove Athletic on Tuesday, with Tom Grice giving them a 33rd minute lead that Liam Shotton cancelled out on 52 minutes. Karl Charlton grabbed Leek`s injury-time winner.

Coalville Town also drew on the opening day and also managed a win three days later, beating Romulus 3-1 with goals from Jerome Murdock after 15 minutes and a Cameron Stuart brace in the 43rd and 75th minute – the second from the spot – with Dexter Ravenhill replying 5 minutes before half-time for Roms.

Promoted King`s Lynn Town made it two from two at Watnall Road against Hucknall Town, whose Karl Slack had given them a 17th minute lead. But the Linnets turned around 3-1 to the good after goals from Steve Spriggs after 37 minutes, Russ Dunkley 3 minutes later and Spriggs again a minute before the break.

Halesowen Town, beaten at home last Saturday, won 3-2 at Market Drayton Town, taking a 15th minute lead through Craig Milligan before finding themselves 2-1 down by the 61st minute, courtesy of a Craig Ryan double. But Ben Haseley responded with a brace of his own on 64 minutes from the spot and 70 minutes from open play to win it for the Yeltz.

Belper Town, who drew last Saturday, shared the points again on Tuesday, but this time came back from being 2-0 down at the Hawthorns against Brigg Town, for whom Gregg Archer after five minutes and Adam Lee after 14 were on target. Colin Marrison reduced the arrears on the hour-mark and then Greg Wright equalised five minutes later.
