Second-bottom Romulus, still head Sheffield FC by a single point but have played three games more. They drew 2-2 at Christchurch Meadow against mid-table Belper Town, whose Lee Williamson opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the 25th minute.
Crucially, on-loan Romario Martin equalised right on half-time and six minutes after the restart, Malachi Farquharson put the Roms in front. Jon Jebbison grabbed the Nailers` equaliser after 63 minutes.
It finished 4-4 at the Coach & Horses in a remarkable game that saw the sides go into the break one-apiece after Grant Ryan had cancelled out Tyrell McFarlane`s 28th minute opener for Drayton.
Then came six goals in 17 minutes! David Howarth made it 2-1 to the visitors on 52 minutes, Adam Chapman equalised five minutes later and then James Gregory put the hosts ahead for the first time on the hour-mark. Charlie Knowles pulled Drayton level, only for Leon Osborne to make it 4-3 to Club on 65 minutes, Howarth`s second four minutes later restoring parity.
Chasetown had the opportunity to move into the top six had they won at home against Cleethorpes Town in a game delayed by 15 minutes due to the late arrival of the visitors due to traffic problems.
But the points were also shared here as Muzi Nduna`s goal just before the hour-mark for the Scholars was eventually cancelled out by Mark Gray in stoppage time.
