The 29-year-old stopper, pictured, was cleared after Bay used video evidence to prove his innocence in an appeal for wrongful dismissal to the FA of Wales disciplinary committee on Thursday night before the decision was confirmed at lunchtime on Friday.
Cooper, who has played in every league game for the Bay this season, received his controversial red card after 22 minutes at Mariners Park for an alleged foul outside the area on South Shields forward Gavin Congdon, leaving the Seagulls to play for over an hour with ten men in a 4-1 defeat.
Video evidence, however, clearly showed there was no contact between the players and a Seagulls spokesman said: "After examining the video and supporting evidence the FA of Wales disciplinary committee have upheld the appeal and have returned Colwyn Bay's appeal fee. That leaves Cooper free from any suspension to play four crunch games in eight days as the Bay continue their chase for a play-off spot."
