Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Blyth Spartans are looking for volunteers to share their favourite moments supporting the club for a brand new media project.
The Premier Division club’s official YouTube channel BSAFCTV is launching a new series entitled ‘My Blyth Spartans’ and as the title suggests, producers are looking for current or former fans, players and officials to take part.
The Spartans won last season’s inaugural Evo-Stik NPL PR Club of the Year Award and their latest initiative is set to be launched in the coming weeks with volunteers needed in four categories - favourite goal, favourite player, favourite match and favourite memory.
Senior Press Officer Mark Carruthers explained what they are after at Croft Park and urged volunteers to get touch and share their memories with fellow Spartans around the globe.
He said: "BSAFCTV are looking for volunteers to give a one minute interview discussing one of their choices to be used in five minute packages that will go on the channel.
"So whether it’s a game during the epic 1977-78 Cup run, maybe a memory from the 2005 treble winning season or a player from the club’s illustrious history with a great tale to tell, please get in touch.
"BSAFCTV would love to hear from you and see your memories shared with all the people around the world who follow our famous club. Don't be shy and get in touch!"
