The club say he has stepped away from the role “due to business commitments outside of football”.
He leaves the club looking for their third manager of the season.
Banim took over following the departure of Dave McNabb in September, and he went on to take charge of the Blues on 24 occasions, winning nine, drawing five and losing 10 of those matches.
He leaves with the club three points adrift of the play-off places following last weekend’s 1-0 victory over Liversedge.
Rylands are next in action on Saturday 4 February as they visit league leaders Hyde United.
