Warrington Town release Eddie Clarke

Warrington Town have released Eddie Clarke by mutual consent.

Since his debut in November 2022, Clarke made 42 appearances for the club in total.

The Yellows helped rehabilitate the left-sided defender/midfielder from two serious injuries, including one in the summer sustained when on trial with another club.

On his departure, Warrington Town chairman Toby Macormac said: "Eddie's focus has not been to the level we require recently, and with limited resources and a small squad this can have an adverse affect.

"The decision was not taken lightly and we wish Eddie all the best for the future."

The club continues to support Mikey Howard, Jack Mackreth and Mo Ali in their rehab from their respective serious injuries sustained while playing for the Yellows.
